The following is an update of Phase 2 of Bart to San Jose
An Environmental Impact Report (EIR) is being prepared for the Draft Diridon Station Area Plan. The City welcomes your input on what potential environmental impacts could result from the proposed Diridon Station Area Plan and should be analyzed in the Environmental Impact Report.
To facilitate community input, an EIR scoping meeting has been scheduled as follows:
Where: Fireside room at the Westminster Presbyterian Church
1100 Shasta Avenue, San Jose (intersection of Shasta Avenue and The Alameda)
When: Wednesday, November 2 at 7 pm.
To review a project description of the Draft Diridon Station Area Plan, its location, and a brief summary of the probable environmental effects that will be analyzed in the EIR click on the link below.
If you can not attend the November 2nd meeting, but would like to provide input on the scope of the environmental analysis (i.e. EIR) of the Draft Diridon Plan, please mail or email your input by 5pm, November 11th to:

Planning has announced scoping meetings for the "Draft Program EIR for the Diridon Station Area Plan"
Key to adjoining neighborhoods will be the underlying assumptions used for traffic analysis, e.g. "X% of baseball fans will take light rail or trains."
Creek and trail fans will want to submit their scoping questions, too.

The council will be having a Diridon Station Area Special Meeting on Thursday April 28, 9 am to noon. This is an action item, not a study session.
