Community Book Sale Flyer

The following is an excert from the SJUSD web site:

Dear SJUSD Community,

We have had an outpouring of community wanting to donate to Trace Elementary School’s renovation and teacher support.

Donations
Your generous tax deductible donations should be made payable to San Jose Unified School District, please write “Trace Fund” on the memo line of your check.  Donations can be mailed to San Jose Unified School District, Fiscal Department, 855 Lenzen Ave. San Jose, CA 95126   All funds received will be directed towards support for the Trace teachers and classrooms.

Library Materials
We are also accepting new and “gently used” children’s books for the school and classroom libraries. Because of the various levels of reading ability the books should be appropriate for children from Kindergarten - 8th grade.  Spanish books are also welcome.  Your donations can be dropped off at the San Jose Unified District Office, 855 Lenzen Ave. San Jose, CA 95126

If you need further information please contact Karen Fuqua, 408.535.6444 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

As the construction begins and the temporary classrooms are installed, we will let you know what the volunteer need will be.  What a tremendous spirit of community has been evoked by this devastation!  Trace teachers and students have been embraced by people and organizations that stretch far beyond the beautiful Rose Garden neighborhood community.
