All of us at Abraham Lincoln High School are looking forward to a terrific year with challenging classroom curriculum, spirited athletic events, and inspiring programs from our visual and performing arts departments.
This will be the second year we are hosting the “Friday night lights”, with our first night football game on September 11 against Hollister. The JV game begins at 4:30 and the Varsity game begins at 7:00. The first girls home tennis match is on September 10, and the girls volleyball team faces Independence on September 22 in their league opener. The boys waterpolo team goes head to head against Evergreen Valley on September 10, and the girls team hits the deck against Santa Teresa on September 30.
Little Shop of Horrors opens on October 22, with seven performances ending on October 31. This is the perfect Halloween delight, suitable for the entire family! But the activities don’t stop here... our Lincoln Foundation is sponsoring a fundraising dinner at 71 St. Peter on September 13, and a Wine Tasting fund-raiser at Joseph George Wines on November 6. On Thursday, October 22 we are honoring our Honor Roll students with an assembly that begins at 10:30; all parents and family members are invited to attend.
We have an exciting school year chock-full of activities for the entire family; we hope to see you all at one of our many events!
