Monthly Board Meeting - S/HPNA's Board of Directors meets the fourth Tuesday of every month, 7:00p.m. at Westmister Presbyterian Church. The meetings are open to all members. See the event calendar for meeting details and information on placing items on the agenda. Note: We do not meet in the month of December.

Free Trees! - Know a place in the neighborhood that needs a tree? Our City Forest has free 15-gallon shade trees for neighborhoods, public parking strips, parks and school grounds. The Shasta / Hanchett Park Neighborhood Association is a volunteer-based community organization founded in 1985 to protect and advance the interests of the Shasta/Hanchett Park, St. Leo's, Garden Alameda, and Cahill Park neighborhoods in San José, California. S/HPNA provides and promotes programs and activities aimed at building community and fostering civic involvement in this historic community.


 
Start a Neighborhood Watch
The Neighborhood Watch program brings the neighborhood together with the police to achieve the common goal of preventing crime. The San Jose Police Department's Crime Prevention Unit can help you establish the program on your block.
